Design
- If your organisation/club/school already has
a badge or emblem, which you would like to use, simply send a copy of this with
your order.
- We can take your design from a pencil
drawing, letterhead, old sweatshirt or whatever you have available.
- If you have designed a rough sketch of what
is required, send this and our artist will produce the finished artwork.
- We will send a copy for your approval before
we print or embroider the garments.
|
 |
Size of Design
- Please give us details of the approximate
size of the design and indicate on the order form where you would like the
motif positioning on the garment.
|
 |
Small
Orders
- We require a minimum order of 12 garments (for each design) at
any one time for single colour printing and all embroidery orders.
- We require a minumum order of 25 garments for the initial order
of multicolour print designs (repeat order minimum =12).
- Repeat orders for less than 12 garments per design can usually
be accepted but there is a surcharge of £6.00 . Please see order form.
|
 |
Re-Ordering
- We retain all artwork and we can reproduce your design when you
want to re-order, say next term or next year.
- Please mark your order - "as before" and send a photocopy or
sample of the design if possible. (This is important if you have more than one
design.)
- For embroidery orders please give your design reference number
if possible.

Choosing printing or embroidery
- We cannot embroider onto medium weight T-shirts and we cannot
print onto acrylic sweaters or fleece jackets. Other than these restrictions,
printing or embroidery looks good on all of our garments.
- If you want a large, bold design, printing is often the best
solution (embroidery of large designs is expensive).
- Printing has a maximum of 4 colours, whereas you can choose up
to 9 colours in the design for embroidery.

 |
Is the
Motif Suitable for the Required Garments?
- Please think carefully about size and position of motif in
relation to size and style of garment.
- The style of garment ordered (eg V-neck sweaters, polo shirts,
hooded sweatshirts) can impose restrictions as to the best position for the
motif.
- Printing or embroidery onto the left breast of these garments
is our recommended standard position.
- Jogging pants can be printed or embroidered with a small motif;
alternatively a vertical design can look very effective.
- Embroidery has to be carried out inside frames: this can
sometimes impose restrictions as to the size and position of the motif.

 |
Smaller childrens garments
- Large designs may not fit onto our smaller childrens garments -
please bear in mind the smallest garment size that you have ordered when you
are choosing the size of your motif!
- It is usually possible to reduce or enlarge the size of the
motif, but we will require at least 12 garments for each size of motif.
|
 |
Single colour printing or
embroidery
- We realise that many organisations
want to order more than one colour of garment. For single colour print and
embroidery only we allow one change of colour in the design eg. you can have a
light coloured design on dark garments and a dark design on light
garments.
- If you are ordering a wide range
of garment colours the two print/embroidery colours that cover the range best
are yellow/gold and black.
|

|
Multi-colour printing or embroidery
- We can only change thread/print colours for multi-coloured
designs if you order more than 12 garments for each design colour combination.
- Embroidery - we suggest that you restrict the
garment colours available for ordering by your organisation to the ones that
the design will work on.
- Print designs - for multi-coloured print designs
we are only able to print on one colour of garment (unless you order more than
12 of each colour).
