Nurseries & Pre-Schools Recommendations

These are the opinions & recommendations of the Welbeck Sales Team for easy-to-choose styles that will be popular with most of our nursery and pre-school customers. This page covers both styles for children and for the adult staff uniforms. Please scroll down the page for all of the options.

Children's T-shirts
	STS T-Shirts These are our favourite recommended brand of T-shirts, starting at size age 3-4. Most shades of T-shirts are heavyweight and are made from ring-spun cotton for extra softness. Also available in adults sizes (see below).
	BB05 Baby Basics T-Shirt This is the T-shirt we recommend if you require smaller sizes than are available in our STS T-shirts. They are made from 100% combed cotton and they are available in sizes starting from 0-6 months.
Children's Sweatshirts
	W10 Welbeck Round Neck Sweatshirt Our own Welbeck Brand sweatshirt, made from 70% cotton/30% polyester in a heavyweight fabric for maximum warmth and comfort. These are traditionally styled sweatshirts with ribbing at the waistband and cuffs. They are available in17 colours with sizes starting at size 22". These sweatshirts are also available in adults sizes (see below).
	W17 Welbeck Nursery Style Open Hem Sweatshirts For those who prefer a sweatshirt without ribbing at the waist and cuffs, this sweatshirt has been especially styled for children of a pre-school age. They are made from the same warm fabric as the W10 sweatshirts above and are availabe in the same 17 colours. Sizes start at size 22".
Children's Polo Shirts
	W40 Welbeck Polo Shirts If you want 100% cotton polo shirts for your children these are the polo shirts to choose. They are available in 10 shades in sizes starting at 22". Made in Britain in our own factory here near Nottingham. Also available in adults sizes.
	RK3 Woodbank Polo Shirt Made from 65% polyester/35% cotton these polo shirts are an excellent budget polo shirt. Sizes start at age 2-3. Also available in adults sizes. Minimum order 25 of this style.
	KK406 Childrens Klassic Polo Shirt Made from 65% polyester/35% polyester this polo shirt can be washed at 60 deg C and tumble dried. Sizes start at age 3-4. Also available in adults sizes (style KK403) and a ladies style (KK703).
Children's Fleeces
	BB10 Baby Basics Quarter Zip Fleece Top This style is the one we recommend if you require a fleece for younger ages than most childrens fleece cater for. These fleeces start at a size of 0-6 months.
	BMFJ1 Polar Fleece A popular fleece with a full lenth zip and 2 zip pockets. Sizes start at age 3-4. Also available in adults sizes.
	W53 Welbeck Open Hem Fleece A "pull-over-head" fleece with zip from chest to collar and without ribbing or elastic at the waist. Available in 9 shades including yellow with sizes starting at 24". Also available in adults sizes.
Adults T-Shirts
	STS T-Shirt If you want a standard cut T-shirt this is the one we recommend. We believe this is the best T-shirt available without paying a premium price. Most shades are made from heavyweight T-shirt fabric and are made from ringspun cotton. Also available in childrens sizes.
	KK700 Kustom Kit Ladies Comfy T-Shirt A loose fitting, nicely shaped ladies T-shirt with a lovely neckline. Longer in length than most of the ladies T-shirt styles. This T-shirt is a great choice when you need a t-shirt to look good on a variety of shapes, sizes and ages of women.
	BA1001 Bella Fitted T-Shirt If you want a fitting T-shirt, this is the one we recommend. It gets its shape from the ribbing - so it gives gentle flattering shapes without the normal problems of elastane. A large and very good choice of colours available. We regard this T-shirt as a "sensible" T-shirt, finishing at a sensible length, suitable for a wide variety of organisations and occasions. Especially recommended for: younger and/or slimmer figures.
	Elegance Tank Top 2930 A sensible and attractive vest top for summer, this loose fitting vest looks good on a variety of shapes and sizes of women. We realise that there is a limited colour choice, but we still recomend this vest as the most suitable vest for most occasions.
Adults Sweatshirts
	W10 Welbeck Round Neck Sweatshirt A heavyweight sweatshirt made from 70% cotton/30% polyester to keep you warm and comfortable. Available in 17 colours and in sizes up to 5XL in all 17 shades. Traditionally styled with a ribbing waistband. Made in our own factory near Nottingham. Also available in childrens sizes.
	W15 Welbeck Open Hem Sweatshirt Many of our customers want the option of a sweatshirt without ribbing at the hem. This sweatshirt is available in heavyweight fabric in the same 17 colours as the W10 sweatshirt.
	W14 Ladies Sweatshirt Cardigans A warm and comfortable cardigan option for ladies made from the same sweatshirt fabric and in the same sweatshirt colours as the Welbeck sweatshirts.
	W22 Zipped Through Hooded Sweatshirt A practical and attractive sweatshirt option made from the same warm sweatshirt fabric as our Welbeck sweatshirts. Wear unzipped as a cardigan inside, but when you are looking after the children outside you can put the hood up to keep your head warm!
	W26 Zipped Through Cadet Collar Sweatshirt A practical zip sweatshirt similar to the W22 hoody above - but great for anyone who doesn't want a hood.
Adults Polo Shirts
	W40 Welbeck Polo Shirt Made from 100% cotton for comfort this is a "standard cut" polo shirt suitable for men and women. Available in 10 shades in sizes up to 50" (we can also make "to-order" in larger sizes). Also available in childrens sizes.
	RK3 Woodbank Polo Shirt A "standard cut" polycotton polo shirt suitable for men and women which combines excellent value and good quality. We have a minimum order of 25 for this style to keep the prices as low as possible. Also available in childrens sizes.
	HB401 Henbury Ladies Polo Shirt with Stand-up Collar This ladies polyester/cotton polo shirt is also a good choice for a sensible but feminine polo shirt. They are available in 13 colours (including pink & lavender). Also available as a mens/standard cut style (style HB400).
	539F Jerzees Ladies Polo Shirt This popular ladies polyester/cotton polo shirt is nicely styled with a shorter length. It has a couple of colours which aren't in the colour range of the HB401 style which are worth considering. Built to withstand repeated washing & wearing.
Ladies Cardigan
	714F Ladies Cardigan A smart and attractive knitted cardigan made from a rib knit for a fitted look. Made from 50% coton/50% acrylic.
Shirts and Blouses

Adults Fleeces
	BMFJ1 Polar Fleece A popular fleece in a "standard cut" styled for both men and women. Full length zip and 2 zipped pockets. Also available in childrens sizes.
	62-558-0 Fruit of the Loom Ladies Microfleece A lightweight-but-warm fleece that can either be worn indoors or outdoors, this is a popular and attractive ladies fleece. Sized for a close fit - choose a larger size for a loose fit!
	W53 Open Hem Fleece A simply styled "pull-over-head" fleece designed to be either an outer garment or a thermal layer under a coat. Available in 9 shades including yellow and cream. Also available in childrens sizes.
	W56 Ladies Hoody Gilet A practical gilet styled for women. Practical hood for when looking after children outside.
	BMFJ2 Reversible Jacket Simple, effective and a very good price. This jacket has a fleece layer on one side and a weatherproof nylon layer on the other. Zipped pockets (4 in total) plus a mobile phone pocket and a zip-away hood. Also available in childrens sizes.
Tabards
	S843 Tabard with Pocket A good quality tabard at a good price.
	PR171 Tabard with Pocket This is a premium quality tabard - you simply couldn't imagine a better tabard! A wider colour range is available for this tabard, including sunflower, emerald and pink.
Accessories
	C470 Hi Vis Vest Stay visible with these vests when you are walking the children near roads! We can also print or embroider your nursery logo onto them as a very effective way of getting your nursery name and logo seen.
	JN10 Junior Hi Viz Vest Keep your children highly visible when you are taking them near roads or other traffic hazards. Alternatively use them when you need to be able to instantly recognise your group of children out of a larger group.
	Caps We supply a range of caps in both adults and childrens sizes suitable for helping to protect from the sun. We also sell childs legionnaires caps, which have a flap to help protect the neck area from over-exposure to the sun.
	QD456 Classic Book Bags Let the children take home their reading books and pictures in these book bags.
	QD458 Shoe Bags Keep the children's change of shoes neat, tidy and easy to carry!
