Here is our general Welbeck information for buying our printed and embroidered garments. Please read through the page before placing an order with us. If you have any queries... do not hesitate to contact us!
Most of our Welbeck brand garments are made here in Nottingham, from our own knitted fabrics. Some garments are kept as regular stock items while some are made to order only. The quality of every garment is carefully checked at each stage of production. We also supply many other brands that are not manufactured by ourselves, to give our customers the widest range of garment choice.
You can choose silk screen printing or embroidery for your group/organisation's own design. You can have individual names or nicknames transfer printed onto garments. All garments are printed and embroidered here in the same factory so your order can move efficiently though the departments.
If you would like to see samples of any of our garments please contact us and we will send them out on 28 days approval. (Please do REMEMBER to send the samples back!)
Please note that printed/embroidered garments cannot be exchanged, make sure that you order the correct size. Please use our size chart or ask to see samples BEFORE YOU ORDER.
Delivery of stock items is normally 2-3 weeks. Delivery of non-stock items is normally 2-5 weeks. Orders requiring printing and embroidery will usually take about 6 weeks to be processed - order early! If you require an urgent delivery we would advise you to phone first to check our stock position.
All price details are given in our current price list. A quick summary of the main points of our pricing policy is given below.
Garments in childrens sizes do not incur VAT. The VAT inclusive price has been shown in bold type on all adults sizes. Generally speaking, if you are ordering for children of the ages approx 9-16 you need to read our VAT guideline.
There are no charges for design of the motifs (apart from alterations away from the design originally submitted to us). Prices for printing are based on the number of colours in the design. Prices for embroidery are based on a simple structure relating to size of motif and the number of colours in the motif.

25 - 74 garments 5% discount
75 - 350 garments 10% discount
Carriage is charged on orders where less than 75 garments are ordered. It is also charged on for cap orders and for any delivery to a BFPO destination. Carriage is generally free for orders of 75 garments. For further information see our carriage charges. Please note that a signature may be required by the parcel carriers on receipt of the parcels. If you do not want delivery on certain dates (eg holidays) please specify on order form.
We have a minimum order number of 12 garments for all embroidered designs and all single coloured printing designs. Our minimum order quantity for multicoloured printing (2-4 colours) is 25 garments for the initial order and 12 for all subsequent orders with that design. We can often accept "repeat" orders for quantities below the minimum order quantity on payment of a surcharge. (Cap orders:- minimum 20)
We will accept late additions to orders that have not yet been printed/embroidered. However, customers should bear in mind that this may lead to a longer processing time for the whole order.
We save all designs, so that reordering is quick and efficient. If you have more than one design, please make sure that we know which design you require (eg attach a photocopy or sample).
Small orders - please send payment with order. Larger orders: if we are able to extend credit to you we require payment within 14 days of delivery. If we are unable to offer you credit terms we will contact you to request payment before we proceed with your order.
Please make any cheques payable to Welbeck Sports. We also accept payment by debit card over the phone, or by bacs payments (please contact us for our bank details). Please note that we do not currently accept payment over the internet.
Most of the items ordered from us by our customers cannot be returned. Please see our returns policy for more information on which garments can be returned, and from which of our customers. All returns are subject to our returns policy and our terms and conditions.
In the unlikely event that the item/garment is faulty, you do have statutory rights to return that item. Again, please see our returns policy for more information
We have an online returns form to assist you in returning any garments that you are permitted to return, which you may choose to use.
